How does installation work?
The Fonteyn Barrel Sauna arrives with the front and back sections pre-assembled, making setup easier. Clear instructions are included, so you can assemble it yourself.
The sauna requires hard wiring, which should be done after assembly by a qualified electrician. A wiring diagram is provided with the instructions.

How hot does the sauna get?
With the standard 4.5 kW heater that comes with all orders, the sauna can reach temperatures of up to 60°C.
You can upgrade your sauna for hotter temperatures.
6 kW Heater: Achieves 60 - 70°C.
9 kW Heater: Achieves 80 - 100°C.
How is the sauna powered?
The 4.5 kW heater that comes with all orders requires a 20-amp supply.
The 6 kW Heater requires a 32-amp supply.
The 9 kW Heater requires a 40 amp supply.
What are the running costs?
Running costs for the Fonteyn Barrel Sauna Rustic can vary depending on the power of the heater.
The 4.5 kW heater has a running cost of approximately £1.12 per hour, increasing to £1.49 per hour for the 6 kW heater. The 9 kW heater has a running cost of approximately £2.24 per hour.
This may vary slightly depending on your home's electrical setup.
What does the +1 & +3 stand for?
Our + models include an additional canopy space which can be used as a changing room or for storing robes and clothes.
The canopy for the +1 model is external as seen in the product images, whereas the +3 Grandview model has an internal canopy which is better suited for use as a changing room.
